Each oil field comes with the following attributes:
- Total Reserve Limit — each field has a finite amount of extractable oil
- Exploration Attempt Limit — each field can only be explored a set number of times
- Different fields offer varying reserves, making strategic resource allocation essential
2. Detector
- Used to explore oil fields and discover extractable crude oil
- Has durability, which can be restored using Refined Oil

- Converts Crude Oil + a small amount of $OIL into Refined Oil
- No durability limit — can be reused indefinitely
- VIP 0: Cannot purchase refineries
- VIP 1: Can purchase 1 refinery
- VIP 2: Can purchase 2 refineries
- VIP 3: Can purchase 3 refineries
- VIP 4: Can purchase 4 refineries
